One of my favorite parts of living in Naples is that the restaurant scene never really sits still, even in the slower months. Somebody is always opening something new, and half the fun is figuring out which ones are worth working into your rotation. Here is what has landed recently, and what is still to come.

North Naples and Tamiami Trail

Heyday Cookshop opened in April at Neapolitan Way, and it comes with real pedigree. Chef Kayla Pfeifer, a James Beard Emerging Chef semifinalist and a Food Network Chopped Champion, is behind the kitchen, and this is her second concept in Naples after Bicyclette Cookshop. If her first place is any indication, this one is worth the drive.

A few doors down on Tamiami Trail North, Claypot has brought something Naples has not really had before, a Turkish restaurant where everything is cooked from scratch in actual clay pots using traditional methods. It is the kind of place that makes a night out feel like a small trip somewhere else.

Also in North Naples, a couple of familiar spots changed hands and got a full refresh. Papa Joe's Trattoria took over the space that used to be Zen Asian BBQ, and Tequilas Mexican Bar and Grill has stepped into the old Señor Tequila's location at Marquesa Plaza under new ownership. Ambrosi and Sons made the move from East Naples to the Shoppes at Vanderbilt, so if that was on your list, it has a new address now.

Downtown and Third Street South

Annie's Bistro sits inside the new Olde Naples Hotel, right on the block where Naples was founded back in 1889. It moves through the day from a morning coffee stop to a full bistro and bar, and you do not need to be a hotel guest to walk in, just steps from Third Street South.

Around the corner on Park Street, Tiny Kitchen opened this summer, run by Alejandro Veiga, his wife Samantha Skarl, and his mother Chef Marta Veiga, serving Argentinian street food out of a tiny 680 square foot space near Fifth Avenue South. Fifth Avenue itself has picked up a few new names too, All Too Well Gourmet Sandwiches and Barrio Taqueria among them, along with Ce Soir over in Bayfront.

Waterside Shops Is Having a Moment

Eddie V's Prime Seafood has been open a couple of months now at 765 Seagate Drive, and it has already become one of the most talked about tables in town. It is the brand's first Southwest Florida location, bringing internationally sourced seafood, hand carved steaks, and a lounge with live jazz that makes for one of the better date night options in Naples right now. If you have not tried it yet, it is worth working into your rotation, and it gives you a preview of what else is coming to that corner of town.

Buck and Rider is still targeting a late 2026 opening at Waterside Shops, marking the brand's first expansion outside Arizona, with the open kitchen, raw bar, and indoor outdoor seating they are known for. Right alongside it, RH Restaurant is coming to the center of Restoration Hardware's new glass atrium gallery on the old Nordstrom site. Between Eddie V's already up and running and these two still to come, Waterside Shops is quickly becoming one of the most exciting dining corners in Naples.

Why This Matters Beyond Dinner

I bring this up as more than a dining list. When I am walking buyers through a neighborhood, the restaurant scene tells a story about where that area is headed. A cluster of new independent openings usually means momentum, and momentum tends to show up in property values not long after. If you are looking at homes near North Naples, downtown, or anywhere close to Waterside Shops, these openings are worth paying attention to for more reasons than one.
